Larry Moore

Larry is a founding board member and Vice President of Rumble Against Cancer.

He was born and raised in the Dallas area. Larry and his wife, Sandra have been married since 1975. They have two children, Shelley and Danny, son-in-law Cody, and daughter-in-law, Mindi. They love spending time outdoors and with their awesome grandchildren, Lane, Brayson, Morgan and Brody.

Larry is a Master Electrician and has been in the electrical and lighting business all his life and full time since 1974. He is Vice-President of Unique Lighting of Texas and is co-owner of several companies with his brothers. Larry is also an ordained deacon at his hometown Baptist church.

In 2001 Larry’s wife bought him his first motorcycle, a Harley Davidson Ultra Classic and had it delivered to their home Father’s Day weekend. He is one of the original Soggy Bottom Boys and the reason they got the name. Larry was leading the ride as they rode through the storm of the century in Colorado. Since 2012 Larry rides a 2013 Harley Davidson CVO Ultra Classic.

Larry completed several rides with the Rumble Riders including Tour 2013 and Tour 2014. Larry has recently put riding on hold due to several back and neck surgeries. He also fights Rheumatoid Arthritis. Larry loves to ride and has a passion for Rumble Against Cancer and hopes to feel well enough again soon to ride again.
